Our Process for Success
Instructional Teaching
The first step in graduating from driving school typically involves receiving some instructional teaching. Students learn the rules of the road, traffic laws, and essential theoretical knowledge. This phase provides a foundation for understanding driving principles and prepares students for the written permit test.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
After completing the classroom component, students move on to practical, behind-the-wheel training. Instructors guide them through hands-on driving experiences, teaching vehicle control, defensive driving techniques, and road etiquette. This phase is crucial for developing the practical skills necessary for safe and confident driving.
Testing and Certification:
The final step involves testing to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical driving skills. Students may need to pass a written exam as well as a road test. Upon successful completion, they receive a certification or license, marking the culmination of their driving school journey and indicating their readiness to drive independently on the road.
What do we do?
At AAcosta we help students to obtain a driver’s license if they have a driving permit. Teens in Missouri at the age of 15 can obtain a driving permit and start practicing if they have an adult with a license in the vehicle. At the age of 16 they can go to the DMV and take their road test. The same vehicle that we use to teach the students the necessary driving skills to pass the driving test, will be used the day of the test.
